the replacement bulb for the last fixture has come in. We will need at least 5 days of dry weather before the fixture can be replaced in order to ensure the turf is not damaged by the lift truck required to complete the installation of the bulb.

July 12, 2020 - Guest Policy + Splash Pad Update
We are glad to see residents enjoying the facilities, here are some key takeaways to keep in mind while continue to do so:
  • Pool Wristbands: If your child just turned 13 and needs their pool wristband please contact us. Please keep in mind that once these wristbands are given out, we do not update them yearly.
  • Pool: Guest capacity has increased to 4 per household. Please do not forget your wristband for every household member 13 & older. We will continue to monitor the head counts to prepare for a possible increase in the capacity limit.
  • Splash Pad: The Splash pad has opened for general use. Please practice social distancing when visiting the splash pad.
  • Gym: The  gym remains open. A few  machines will remain unplugged to ensure capacity restrictions and social distancing.
Please note, The Groves is not disinfecting playground and outdoor furniture on a regular basis. We ask that you please be mindful of other neighbors while enjoying the walking paths in our community, and move to the outer edges of the walk or even off the walk to maintain the recommend six foot distance. If you have an urgent matter or need immediate assistance, please contact any of the team members at the numbers listed below and someone will be able to assist you.

June 4, 2020 - Increased Amenity Capacity + No More Pool Reservations!
Yesterday (Wednesday, June 3) Governor Abbott announced the extension of Phase II of the Texas Reopening Plan, expanding additional activities. The report and supporting Executive Order GA-26 specifically declared that "public swimming pools" may now operate at 50% of normal operating limits as determined by the pool owner. With this, we are excited to update that The Groves Community pool and gym will be open to a maximum 50% capacity.

Please note the following temporary guidelines:
  • Reservations are NO LONGER NEEDED! You may go to the pool however many times a day and week as you'd like. Visits are first come first serve to maintain capacity requirements.
  • Pool will remain operating 11:00 am - 9:00 pm Tuesday-Sunday, closed Monday for cleaning.
  • The Splash Pad will remain closed at this time. Updates will be sent via email and website.
  • Only residents of The Groves are allowed, no guests please.
  • The pool furniture has been temporarily removed but residents are allowed to bring their own chairs.
  • As recommended by local agencies, residents should wear masks while not in the water.
As a friendly reminder, residents MUST wear pool wrist bands for every person 13 & up, and use the key fob to enter the gated pool area. If you need another key fob or a replacement pool band, you can purchase online here.
We are back on-site! The Association office is open daily by appointment only. You may request your appointment online here.
For now the coffee bar will be unavailable as well as the use of the board games, shuffle board and giant connect four in the Lifestyle Center. We are taking this approach to comply with the recommendation that high touch/reusable items not be left out for repeated use.
The Groves will resume facility rentals when recommending agencies orders for capacity threshold for indoor facilities, returns to 100%.

May 19, 2020 - Pool Reservations & Management Office Updates
To ensure the safety of our community and residents, The Groves has implemented a temporary online reservation system for the pool. The pool will open on Saturday, May 23 with 25% occupancy per time slot. As circumstances and recommendations change, we will adjust the reservation process.
Residents will be allowed to request reservations for pre-determined two hour time blocks. Each household may request up to one (1) time slot per day, and no more than two (2) per week. Residents will be required to wear pool wrist bands as, no guests will be allowed at this time, only residents. Residents MUST use their key fob to enter the gated pool area as the gate monitor will not let you in if you do not have your key fob. Residents must check-in with the pool attendant and the number of people must match the number registered so be sure to include everyone including your mini swimmers. The pool furniture has been removed but residents are allowed to bring their own chairs. As recommended by local agencies, residents should wear masks while not in the water.
Reservation Time Slots are as Follows:
  • 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

We are taking this approach to comply with the recommendation that high touch/ reusable items not be left out for repeated use.
The Groves will resume facility rentals when recommending agencies orders for capacity threshold for indoor facilities, returns to 100%.
Due to the current mandates in place, the ability to comply  would require staffing during events. We do not have staffing to provide this level of monitoring to ensure compliance.
Residents can now submit their Tree Removal and ARC Applications, including payments, through the community website. In addition, residents will have the ability to view their applications and replies, as well as add attachments and view past requests.
  • ARC Application Payments - After you have filled out your ARC Application, you may complete your payment online. Make sure to check your email or below for the ticket number to include when making your payment.

May 16, 2020 - Playground & Gym Update
Starting Monday May 18, The Groves playgrounds and gym will be open for use. We ask that you still avoid the soccer field as it is currently being re-sodded. Once this project is complete it will be open for residents to access.
Residents are encouraged to continue maintaining social distancing while inside the gym. To assist in facilitating this, several of the machines have been deactivated. We are asking that residents self monitor when using the current open amenities as the association is NOT staffed to monitor or enforce social distancing regulations. Please wipe down any machine you use prior to your workout as well as after, using the wipes provided in the gym. Please be mindful that the facilities are not sanitized regularly to protect against COVID-19.

April 30, 2020 - Trash Service Update From Best Trash
This is a reminder that all residents of HC504 should always have their trash and recycle out prior to 7 am for collection. Beginning May 1, 2020, Best Trash will begin collection in the area starting at 7 am so we will be arriving earlier than normal. This change is due to the amount of construction vehicles in the area that make it very difficult to navigate through the streets in the afternoon. We hope that by making this change, we hope we are able to get ahead of the construction vehicles and service everyone safely. Should any customers have any questions, please feel free to contact customerservice@besttrashtexas.com

March 9, 2020 - MUD Text Message Update
The MUD has implemented a new Revetize mass messaging system for the Harris County Municipal Utility District (“MUD”) No. 504. The MUD is the water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer provider for residents within The Groves Community.
Going forward, communications regarding utility infrastructure (boil water notices, water line repairs, emergency situations, drought contingency, etc.) will be distributed through this messaging system in conjunction with any standard Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requirements.
Text INFRAMARK to 1-855-487-0555 and you will get a reply with an attached link to add your contact information to the messaging system. Once you submit your information, the system will update automatically.
